Korean Movie Synopsis, "Always"

2011 movie, Always, starring So Ji Sub ( Choel Min) and Han Hyo Joo ( Ha Jeong Hwa), made this movie has a special place for their audience. The chemistry between these two is incredible and indeed touching. I watched this recently, and it made me tear up. The story is about Jeong Hwa woman who's blind and worked in customer service in a small company, and Cheol Min, a former fighter who works too many jobs to fulfill his needs. Jeong Hwa used to watch TV at the little house guard parking with the guard. Still one day this guard quit the job and is replaced by Cheol Min. Jeong Hwa was about to give the old guard the food but suddenly Choel Min tells her that the old guard was already quit and it's him now who will be in there. 

Choel Min and Jeong Hwa become close as watching movie buddy and then because of the pity feeling that Choel Min had towards Jeong Hwa because she's blind, he always watching her and help her even though she didn't ask for it.  As the movie goes by, you'll see the innocent side of Jeong Hwa, that in my opinion, she's too fast to believe in people, and always try to be kind even though maybe she got some bad treatment from others, but she's still lovely and well behaves. Well, that's some of the things I wanted to learn from her, to always be nice under any circumstances. But, her kindness is being misused by her boss, who wants to take advantage of her. Known that she's blind, he's visited her home and when he saw the gift that he gave to her is still unopen, his anger is raised. He is attacked Jeong Hwa and going crazy to her, but suddenly Choel Min showed up and beat the hell out of him.

Instead of saying thank you to Cheol Min for saving her, Jeong Hwa is mad at him because he's beating her boss. She told him about the consequences she'll get that she's going to be fired. After that, they didn't meet for a while, but suddenly Jeong Hwa appeared at the guard post, Choel Min's place. She's trying to get back on him and recalling his promise to taking care of her, so Jeong Hwa didn't have to work anymore. After that, Jeong Hwa dan Choel Min live like a lover who's not afraid of the world. Choel Min, who was a fighter before, got back in that ring again. He needs the money so he can live happily with Jeong Hwa. But, life can be hard sometimes, like a deep hole. Choel Min's world with fight and boxing was not that simple. There is something to be paid off and sacrificed. But, in the middle of that situation, Choel Min offered Jeong Hwa a chance to do an eye operation. 

But, Jeong Hwa was hesitant to accept the offer because her blind condition was caused by an accident that brings her trauma and guilty feeling towards her parents. Cheol Min was convincing her to do the operation to see their kids in the future and be able to see Choel Min's face. Finally, Jeong Hwa made her decision and agreed to do the operation. But after the operation, suddenly Choel Min is gone and left Jeong Hwa hanging. Will, they met after this, or is Choel Min gone for good?
